This Hardee pattern flag is based on one captured at the battle of Lookout Mountain, Tennessee in November of 1863. Made of wool flag bunting This reproduction 47” inches X 53” inches with a white disc (or full moon) that measures 27” inches.
This is one of the largest of the Hardee pattern flags that was made. Has a pole sleeve for attachment to a flagpole.
The original was possibly carried by a regiment in Walthall’s brigade, was captured by the 60th New York Infantry Regiment. November 24th, 1863. Our reproduction is made N.J. Sekela.
***NOTE I have this flag on a pole that is a modern coat hanger rod from Lowes, the pole sleeve is little, large for it so you plan to use one for a flagpole you might have to sew up the pole sleeve a little tighter or use a slightly larger pole.
