The Army of Northern Virginia Battle Flag 3rd Bunting Issue. This accurate reproduction measures 47”X 47” inches. Made of 100% wool bunting, completely hand sewn, with 5” wool panel and 1/2” cotton edging with cotton stars, made from our custom dyes and woven wool bunting. Based upon the original flag of the 38th Virginia which was captured at Saylor’s Creek Virginia by Cpl. John B. Hughey of the 2nd Ohio Cavalry April 1865.
(On a personal note, I take the accuracy of this flag seriously as my great-great grandfather’s regiment used a 3rd bunting issue flag for the 63rd Infantry Regiment Tennessee Volunteers, while serving in Virginia.)
