The #2 tin can boiler. The bail wire is attached through a hole on either side of the top. The rim is not wired. It is just as a tin can without a lid would be.  It holds 16 oz. liquid. This replicates a used tin can that had previously contained food such as peaches or beans for example, soldiers would often reuse these tin cans by adding a wire bail handle and cooking with these.
