These were used by some Federal soldiers, likely sold to them by Sutlers, it is a simple affair one part has a spoon and fork the other a knife. Made of tin this item is imported, I do not believe the dismissions are not exact to the original I saw many years ago but is close and better than eating with something modern or your hands. This is a good value for those on a tight budget.
