This lantern is a basic candle fueled lantern. It is a smaller lantern measuring   3 7/8" x 2" x 7". The top opens to slide the glass up to light the candle. Will hold up to 1” diameter candle. This lantern has handles on the rear and also a wire handle that slides out of the top. Good lantern for shining light in one direction, making it easier to see while walking or doing work at night etc. I have not had the opportunity to test this while digging a tunnel under enemy trenches yet.
