The original spring cravat this is based off of was originally owned by William Brown III of “THOUGHTS ON MENS SHIRTS” fame.
The tie portion is more stylish than the conservative bow tie style. The tails can also be fulled to give the apperance of an ascot, which notables such as Elmer Ellsworth are known to have worn. Our reproduction is faithful to the original including the staggered tails, wool batting along the length to add fullness. The spring means you put on and take off in a second without having to tie or untie. Available in various colors and patterns.
