Common white cotton shirt made in the “on the square” style pattern, shirt has an extra layer of cotton shirting on the top half of the front. This plain white shirt is useful for many civilian and Confederate military use as no doubt many Confederates were issued similar shirts. This might also be a good choice as a second shirt for a federal soldier as well.
This shirt is a bargain due to it being machine sewn with hand stitched buttonholes. and quality weight cotton fabric.
This is an excellent shirt for a new recruit trying to save money but wanting an accurate made reproduction or an extra shirt for a veteran. Certainly, a good "everyday" or work shirt for a civilian impression also.
