Lee one of the greatest Generals in history, his likeness is realistically displayed in this artwork. Lee was described by the large northern newspaper HARPERS WEEKLY AS “Unquestionably a consummate master of the art of war.” June 2nd, 1864, edition. One Lees men described their feelings for Lee, “We loved him much, but revered him more…”.
This framed print measures “34 X 22 1/2” INCHES.
The gold frame has 3 or 4 damaged spots that can be easily covered with some gold paint if desired. See photos below.
