Copied from an original example, this exquisite New York state coat of arms is hand embroidered on a black silk velvet background. Detail of state seal is made with vintage grosgrain ribbon flag, and sky blue kersey shield.Made with formed brass loops on the back, it is intended to be attached like the stamped enlisted side eagles. The backing is of brown cotton twill and is folded and hand stitched along the outside edge.
