Made in three stripes of the stylized "Arched" pattern, these chevrons are completely unique and recognizable from the Civil War period.

Our chevrons clean finished at the point and outside edge. We have seen reproductions offered in a raw edged mohair braid which is highly prone to raveling and fraying. While I do not doubt that raw edged chevrons may have existed, I have yet to find one that was arsenal or contractor produced.
