Reproduced from the steamboat ARABIA which sank in 1865 and was covered with mud until discovered in the late 20th century, dozens of these were on board. This reproduction shipping crate is made by Shane Miles, this is beautiful box that is representative of wooden shipping boxes of the 19th century. This box would have contained a number of glass bottles with pepper sauce, I imagine similar to Tabasco sauce. This box is a great choice for civilians and soldiers alike for a variety of uses.
Each box measures 15” X 10” X 11” inches.
Inside dismissions are 8 ½ wide x 13” long 9 ½ inches deep.
