This is just another of so many Confederates canteen sling variations, The original can be seen in ECHOES OF GLORY C.S. EQUIPMENT. The center bar buckles were made in large numbers all over the South. This one is made by Cary Davisson of high-quality leather and is copied from an original. This will fit our canteens as well as those made by others with narrow bands for the slings.
