This is a replica of one the most common camp knives of the mid 19th century. The English “Sheffield” camp knife. This is something that at least one or two in your “mess” should have for meal prepping and general utility. This is a great high-quality knife that is very useful at all events. For years many of us used 18th century trade knives because that was as close as we could find to this knife, now no longer an issue as Mr. Daub as recreated what so many of us have wanted for years. This knife comes with a leather sheath with belt loops; however, I would simply carry one in a knapsack. These slice right through meat and potatoes get one while they last, however we plan to always have these in stock as best we can.
