This book is a first-person account of a US Army Soldier during the Civil War. derived from the stories of veterans who lived it. Wonderful read.
This book is a must read, no matter which side you portray all reenactors can learn a great deal from the authors stories and descriptions of daily military life, as he describes the little and big details experienced by most soldiers of both sides. Very interesting and fun book.
